Canelo Alvarez VS Caleb Plant

Canelo is looking to become the first undisputed Mexican champion at super-middleweight, by adding Plant's IBF belt to the WBA, WBC, AND WBO which he already has. Some say this would make him the best Mexican fighter ever.

Canelo is obviously the favorite going into the fight, but this won't be an easy one at all. Caleb is a natural 168 pounder whose quicker with hands and feet. He's also got a substantial advantage in height and reach. People are saying that Caleb will most likely win the fight half if the fight, but Canelo will take over as Caleb tends to fade in the latter rounds. Canelo and a lot of people are predicting a knockout. There's been a lot of bad blood in the build-up to this fight as well.

I hope Caleb wins, but politics is always on Canelo's side. I believe Canelo lost to GGG in the first fight and Erislandy Lara.

I'm also interested in how good the fight will do with the Usman and Covington II on the same night

Canelo needs to fight Charlo, Andrade, Benevidez, Bivol, or Beterbiev next. I don't consider him undisputed til he beats Benevidez. Benevidez lost the WBC belt on the scales during a pandemic, as he had issues not having access to the sauna.

All the boxers and commentators exactly called how it played it out. Caleb would have success and outbox him in the first half of the fight, then Canelo would catch him latter half. Caleb is pillow fisted, and he's not able to keep the same pace throughout the whole fight.

It's time for Canelo to fight a real challenge next. He has a reputation for fighting the most mediocre competition available.
