Canadians emotionally invested in US politics are hilarious.

The US is a shithole country, filled with moronic hillbillies of all political stripes. People so fucking stupid they can't even find their own shitty country on a map.

Getting all worked up about the choice they made -- either in support or in opposition -- is moronic if you're Canadian.

It's more fun looking down your nose at them for being such a low-class, low-quality people.

Canada was practically built on anti-American sentiment, and I for one am all in favour for keeping it that way. And you should be too.

And to any Yanks reading this, you're not wanted here. Stay out of our country.

Please and thank you.

Here
In spite of the Hostile tone of your post I have to agree with you, I'm just as guilty as most of being too invested in American politics, and now that it's over I've come to realize it, and it's really stupid when you think about it. It doesn't effect me at all personally. I'm going to ignore political news from the US, Canada has enough issues to for me to be concerned about.

Music to my ears.

You're correct; my post is hostile and it's hostile because it needs to be. Things need to be said, and we need to divorce ourselves from that Dumpster fire south of us as much possible.

You're also correct that we have a pile of issues here at home to concern ourselves with. Getting worked up over what the Yanks are doing is utterly stupid.

I think Trump is cunt of a human, but did his presidency impact me from 2016 to 2020?

Nope, not one bit.

Yup -- I have been guilty of this in the past. It was stupid of me. Guilty as charged.

But the real problem isn't Trump -- it's Americans in general. They're a degenerate people and the world would be better if their country never existed. Prove me wrong.

Canada was built on anti-American sentiment. We kicked their fat, useless asses out of here in 1812 and I am all in favour of keeping it that way.

Yanks are not wanted here and they never have been.

Not every Canadian feels that way.
I, and many other Canadians, are very much pro-American 🇺🇲

Wow!!! What a pointless hate filled rant. How American of you. I thought this post would have been about the stupidity of all the posts on the US election. Seriously you are arguing US politics on an escort review site. How productive is that? 🤷‍♂️

My suggestion is to stop focusing on Americans or other people's inadequacies and/or short comings and focus on being a better person yourself.

Well it is a "Politics, Religion and International Affairs" section, so yeah what's the issue with his posting on an escort review board?

This!

And Canadians are letting US politics divide us, for fuck's sake -- that's my point here. How pathetic is that???

Am I trying to stoke the flames of anti-American sentiment? Fucking right I am! It's not a country or people worth emulating.

We have enough problems going on here with our own government and political system that we don't need to be focusing on the failed shithole of a country to the south of us. Who the hell wants to end up like them?

We might not be united as a country on ideologies -- we never were and never will be -- but being anti-American USED to be something that united us.

Yes I am not a big fan of the USA either.
Backward laws, gun violence, overt religiosity etc
I especially detest their foreign policy meddling in other countries, war mongering.
But I dont hate Americans. They are actually good people.
Hate the government, their policies, but not the people. Atleast not all of them.
But the thing about Trump is, it seems to be a cultural statement for many right wing Canadians.
But that is as close as these Canadians are going to come to living in their utopian Trump land. :)
You are not going to hear Pierre declare mass deportations, ending DEI and so on.
So just grab your popcorn and enjoy the show and rant away! :)

You missed the point. I do not have an issue with posts on politics. If you want to discuss politics on an escort review board have at it. But don't post about how hilarious it is Canadians are too emotionally involved in US politics when you are obsessed with it yourself. Kind of ironic and pointless.

Calling people stupid, low class, low quality and other derogatory names speaks more about him than it does about others.

For the record... I am not happy about Trump winning but I am not throwing a tantrum calling people names. I think I will go find an escort now and get laid. Happy mongering.

You ridiculed him for posting on a review board, now you are trying to back track.
Nice try but big fail.

Well, then, you know where the border is. Fuck off out of here and don't come back because you're not one of us.
I agree with much of what you said about becoming too invested in politicial discussions. And I see many examples of American people being nose-picking, snot eating Hillbillies to some degree. But overall, there is no question that I consider the United States and their people our neighbours, brothers and sisters if not just cousins.

I also despise the character and morality of Trump. But I respect the decision of the American people as to who will lead and represent them at home and on the world stage.

I believe in democracy and respect the decisions that arise from it.

With all due respect -- and I do like you, SchlongConery! -- our "family", our brothers and sisters if you will, will always be the British, Aussies and Kiwis, our Commonwealth brethren. We came from the same family, we fought and died alongside each other in two World Wars from Day 1 (not joining at the end, like the Americans), and we have a shared history.

The Americans always had to be different and spew their "individuality" as opposed to wanting to play nicely with others. In my view, the Americans are our neighbours, no more, no less. We cannot and should not even be friends with them. I completely back the CANZUK movement, and if that cuts off all relations with America, I'd love it.
