The story is still in progress. He died June ion June 23. You would think that they would have announced the cause of death by now. Or why he was in ICE custody to begin with.

I wouldn't class him as Canadian, he moved to the US when he was 12 and lived there as a lawful permanent resident for 37 years.
I know he is classified as a Canadian citizen becuse he was born in Canada but he was raised in another culture.
There should be a time frame for citizenship.

If he was born in Canada, he is a Canadian citizen for life.

I agree with @Shaquille Oatmeal but also if he was a lawful permanent resident, why was he detailed by ICE to begin with?

''According to Volusia County court records accessed online, Noviello was arrested in November 2017 along with his father on allegations the pair were selling opioid painkillers out of their Daytona Beach used auto dealership.

Drug Enforcement Administration agents said Noviello obtained oxycodone, morphine and other pills by paying associates to obtain and fill prescriptions, and then provide those drugs to him''

This is why he was being shipped out....Probably had a heart attack while in custody.

Doesn't really matter what you classify him as. ICE classified him as a Canadian and he died in their custody.
