Doctors and Scientists say its just a matter of time that bird flu will hit North America and they predict horrific numbers of tragedy (20 to 40 year olds being the major target due to healthier immune sytems ).we know this puts our immune into overdrive and our organs begin to malfunction .
Now i know Bush has asked congress for 7.1 billion for emergency vaccines and medicines to prepare the US for such a edepemic.Yet other s say he just trying to surfface a old issues to win the hearts of the Americans when this issue has been swept under the rug for several years leaving them no further prepared . .
Then as i flicked the tube i see some doc on oprah saying that these vacinations do not prevent bird flu .Then he states one year of making a bird flu vaccine would only cover 300 million people .Which is like 5 %of the polulation !It is most contagious the day before you actually feel the aches fever chills.So this doc said its impossible to quarantine when your not aware to begin with !
we know that in 1918 the great infulenza killed approximately 50 million people worldwide .Doctor Osterholm states that its not a probability issue .Its going to happen as of where and when we dont know nor what level of flu . As of now there not enough ventillators,drugs,and hospital beds .
The message im getting is what the hell are these politicans waiting for with the facts written in stone .It can never be to early to prepare America/Canada .They seems to think after disaster these days .
One of the major issues is even if they are in the midst of making it ....who would be able to deliver it securely and safely ?with such panics and shut downs ..So now do you think the Canadian Gov't is prepared for what they already know what will happen ?
