At least he showed some life....... most of the leafs that game looked dead. He's not gonna collect his bonus money and that a shame cause you can't deny that he was one of the big reason for the leaf's success on the powerplay and maybe he should be back next year at a lower salary....
In the beginning of the season when Quinn used him a few times for the penalty shots I used to watch an entire TV show while he made his way toward the net.....slowest player I ever saw, strong as an Ox and great at controlling the puck in the offensive zone, perfectly suited to the old rules, but man is that guy a fish out of water now......over 60% of his points are on the PP, if it was'nt for that he'd be about a 25 point guy......so the Leafs cut him loose as well after this year, he'll be lucky to get $1,000,000.00 from someone.........
I agree with Brownie, I give him credit for jumping in there and standing up for his teammate.Good for him. It does suck what happens, one of those things that happen. He lo$e$ a lot. A loser? Not at all.
