I have to agree with Mao on this one. Ninety percent of the time, animated sigs are just plain annoying. I'd gladly give up the 10 percent that are well done to be rid of the annoying ones.

I spoke too soon. The stop button only works one page at a time. I need a permanent solution.

Exploder lets you stop animated gifs. It's in the advanced section of the options. Don't know about Firefox. Opera has a check box that will stop animated gifs in the advanced section too.

Myself I like them, "Must be Jello, 'cause jam don't shake like that!!!"
