Just wanted to ask fellow terbites. .. if there is a way that our spouse can check WiFi Internet usage logs to see if I accessed terb.cc or any such websites?

Are there any softwares that can be used to check WiFi usage logs and any prevention tips?

Assume she can.

She could probably just go to your internet provider and get those records if her name is on the account.

Why don't you just tell her what you are doing? If you don't want to do that then get divorced and run you life the way you want.

Everything I write is fiction!
some of the new wifi routers come with parental control and can keep track of visited websites.
Solution: use your cellphone hotspot to browse instead of your home wifi OR install one of the vpn softwares on your computer, I think they come with some kind of encryption

That doesn't happen LMAO
I doubt that she will also check your Router.
She is simply going to open your browser and click History and see what you've been up to (doesn't matter if you connected from a hot spot)
Clear your history or use private browsing.

But don't clear all your porn. Just the nasty stuff. Leave some romantic stuff up. If they find something it sates the curiosity.

Gotta leave em something or they keep looking.

Get Opera browser. Use private mode and the built in free VPN. Your computer looks clean and your internet provider knows nothing.

You can record and view a list of web-sites you visit on your home router, but that feature is usually buried and not turned on by default. Some routers might not even have that feature. Some manufacturers make you register your router to access this information. Other people are correct in that anyone with the administrator access to your router and disable certain web-sites.

There are a couple of things you can do to prevent people from looking at the log files assuming they exist.

1. Change the router administrator password. You should do this anyway because most routers use something easy to guess like "admin" or "password."
2. If you cannot change the administrator password, then periodically delete that history in your router.

Private browsing only prevents a log file from appearing on the PC you're browsing from; the router would have a record of it (assuming that the feature is enabled)

ISP's do keep logs of all internet activity, but it's a lot of information to sift through. Further, there would have to be a good reason to release that information like for a police investigation. I don't think they can do anything for a suspicious spouse.

Yes it's possible and the easiest way is through the router.

But if you wife's able to do that then she's pretty geeky she's probably on terb or pof herself so she'd be ok you hobbying.

Better yet;
1) get/install Opera browser
2) open Opera browser and do your surfing
3) close browser
4) uninstall browser
5) when you want to go to TERB or other sites go to step 1.

Get your own computer, laptop etc. and password it. Then she can't see anything. If your really that paranoid that your wife will find out that you search terb then maybe you should stop surfing here.

I hope all who contributed to this thread reads this...

a) yes you can find out anything ; especially thru the internet; there is always a trailer left and trust me when I say this.
b) never underestimate the mind of a woman; I say this out of what I have seen.
c) with phones don't even go there.

I saw a very close friend of mine who got hit with the above recently... it was a shock to me the way it was done......
I would say a private phone would help; however I have seen a lady I know who even did a credit check on him and guess what another number came out. and yes they found it in his car...

All these are fair statements, but would you really want to be in a relationship with someone who checks up on you like this?

There are various components that can/cannot report your browsing:

Device (cell, pc) which includes browser - CAN REPORT unless you turn off the history features or enable safe browsing etc.
Wifi router or access point - CAN REPORT if the feature is turned on. Otherwise CANNOT as no logs are kept. Easiest way to prevent problems is to turn off any such features and for YOU to hold the administrator password.
ISP - CAN REPORT for as long as they keep logs. They know everywhere you have been. If you have a good VPN then they CANNOT.

So safest thing to do is use VPN + private browser, and make sure your access point is secure.
