I get nothing but spam from scammers using gmail. I want to block ANY gmail from my Hotmail account. Sounds easy. Hotmail says just type in domain name after @ and press "add to list". Doesn't seem to work. Tried to add gmail & gmail.com to the list. Anyone had this experience? Can I block ANY gmail? Thank you.

PS: I just noticed "That domain can't be added to the blocked senders list." Could it be Gmail is some sacred cow? I seem to only be able to block specific senders mail but not ANY gmail. Anyone?

Setup a new account.
Farking spammers are insidious buggers now once they get into a legit email account and ruin it for you. You have to be carefull who you give your legit email to. Leave that one as a junk account now or delete it.

Problem is, the account I want to block is the one linked to Craigslist. The Gmail Spam Mails are a result of the ad. But in the last few months I have used it, I have not got a single legitimate response from any gmail based email. That's why I want to block gmail.

Looks like they want a response to trigger more spam. I just block it when I receive it, but it's getting to be a pain. Maybe 10 a day. Thanks.

Guess a lot of spammers are using CL and even legit employment sites.
A buddy said his email account got spammed terrible after using a couple big online employment sites. He gave out his main email he's used for over 10 yrs and now gets ~200 spams a day! He ended up creating a new email and uses the old one as a junk/spam account. He won't give his new email out to anyone or business he doesn't trust.

I happen to use GMail (sorry to hear so many of your problems arise from other GMail users), and almost never look at any spam, even though I typically get a couple hundred spam a day.

GMail's spam filters are great. I suspect they use the services of Postini filtering, which Google owns, and which is widely considered the best in the game.

On the Hotmail Options page
Customise Your Mail
Automatically sort e-mail into folders

You can set up a filter based on the from address and automatically delete it.
Don't know how well it works but at least it allows you to make the filter.
