I'm coming to Toronto in mid-October and I've noticed some very attractive rates being offered at the Cambridge Suites Hotel on Richmond St. E. I usually stay at either the Bloor Street Intercontinental Hotel or at the King Eddy, but the Cambridge beats their prices by a wide margin. Does anyone know this hotel or the neighborhood (Richmond one block east of Yonge, I believe)? Thanks!

Fabulous hotel, my Fav
Staff is curtious, have always taken care of any (small) request I `ve had.
They have high speed internet in more than half the rooms now, I beleive wirless is available as well.
They seem to be SP freindly, I have naver had a problem in almost a year staying there, I have even been in the hot tub with SP`s and not ever been confronted .
Its right downtown, acroos from the Eaton Center, lots of great stuff in the area

My only word of warning is, if you take advantage of their express check out, you do get snail mail from them, not an issue for me, but to some it is indeed

It's about $105 US, Don. But the reservation can be cancelled without penalty, so I'd love to hear your suggestions for saving, either here or via pm. Thanks!

I routinely get the Sheraton or Westin on hotwire for about $70 US inclusive of all taxes. This month there seem to be alot of specials, including the Cambridge as well as Courtyard, far below their usual nightly rates.

For downtown Toronto, I suggest using Hotwire over Priceline for 3.5* or 4* hotels. Sheraton is almost always available at a good price. Last time I paid $53US per night plus fees and taxes charged by Hotwire. It was the customer recommended hotel or soemthing like that.

Don, I have my reservation already set through Cambridge Suites directly, and I'll try Hotwire or Bidding for Travel later tonight. If I get a better bargain, I'll just cancel my other res.

Thanks, Angelina. I love your website, and I'm a complete redhead lover...but, alas, I'm an SP kind of guy. But I appreciate your recommendation of the hotel. Still, that location notation "naked in the sauna...care to join me" is tempting!!
