CBC had this sports trivia test on Test The Nation back in May. I missed the episode, however, just found the link to the actual test. It is pretty good.

If interested, take 5-10 minutes and give it a try. There are 50 questions. Post your score if you like - be honest. The National average is approximately 60%.

I feel pretty good that I tied the self-proclaimed trivia expert Liam Maguire. My score was 37/50 for 74%.

Good luck and have fun with it.

I watched it and did the test along with them. I ended up with 84%. I wanted to know what the highest score in the audience was but they didn't say.

I took it but the pizza guy showed up in the middle and there was no pause button so I won't say what my score was :p

Sitting on top of my Perch
ah shit....35/50 = 70%

sec 1. Round Robin 5/5 sec 2. The Good Ol' Hockey game 4/5
sec 3. MVP 5/5 sec 4. The Sporting Life 3/5
sec 5. Wild Card 4/5 sec 6. Dont Quit your day job 3/5
sec 7. the best game.. 3/5 sec 8. All-Star Stumpers 3/5
sec 9. Sports Lingo 1/5 (ouch) sec 10. Offside 4/5

35/50 not bad considering most of these questions involved personalities wayyyyy before my time.

I got 41.. thought I might have got a bit more, but I guess I was unlucky with a few of my guesses.

What I got wrong
Chose Sutter's over Hull's
Sledge Hockey over Wheelchair Racing
Chose Boucher over Klassen for most medals
The Patch from Curling - had no clue what that is.
Did not give a shit who Beckham has played for (guessed Man U instead of Chelsea)
Soap Opera Question went with Roenick not Weekes (that was a tough one)
Why Cherry had his arms up
The skateboarding stance
Curling Term "Burn"
