A stroll through the window district of Amsterdam is a must, even if you don't partake. It is just fascinating. There are some real cuties in there, if you have the patience to look. But these girls are mostly 15 minute wham bam thank you ma'am affairs. They run on volume. Sort of fun if you're in that kind of mood, but kind of seedy.
There are a number of private clubs peppered around the more residential sections of Amsterdam, you can find them in the phone book. These clubs typically feature a bar and there might be 4-6 girls working. You ask a lady to join you for a drink and she is supposed to engage you in conversation. English is very commonly spoken in the Netherlands, so there is usually not a communication issue. You are not obligated to take her upstairs, but most girls will take the hint if you don't ask them within 15 minutes and bolt. At the clubs, there is a bit more intimacy, although GFE action was rare in my experience (kissing, but no bbbj or daty). Prices at these places run in the 280-350 guilders for an hour range, forgive me, I don't know the conversion into Euros.
I have heard about very high end clubs in Amsterdam. My understanding the girls there tend to be well educated, beautiful, and more open-minded. These places are too pricey for a cheapskate like me.
