Business Mentor Wanted :)

Hi Terb community!

I put the word out before and while it resulted in a helpful experience, it wasn't quite what I was looking for.

I feel like I could benefit in my life from a mentorship-type relationship with someone with more life and business experience than myself. I have a few other business interests aside from this industry, and while I could get specific advice in those areas, I would prefer to talk to someone who is industry-friendly. I want to be able to talk to someone about the entire picture, not just parts of it.

The ideal person for me would be someone accomplished and with diverse business interests and holdings.

I'm looking for someone interested in this type of relationship for the emotional benefits it provides, not for any other reasons. I'm not looking for a 'mutually beneficial' relationship on other levels. I'm also not looking to compensate my mentor financially for his or her time, however, our monthly lunches would be on me. All our meetings would take place in public places, and you can expect me to be discreetly and appropriately dressed.

Hi and thanks to all the good people who responded to my post!

I will continue to accept proposals via email or PM until this Friday. The next step after that would be, I think, meeting over coffee with the few individuals who sound like they could be a good match for me. I intend to do this over the next couple of weeks, pending your availability as well.
