I went to one store so far and the clerk had no clue just like @carloska1961 reported. Did the replacement SIM card not come with instructions? If memory serves my old SIM came with explicit instructions on how to register by phone or online.I got a new replacement SIM card but not sure what I am supposed to do. Called customer service 1-866-310-1023 multiple times and cannot get through to anyone. Website isn't helpful at all. Thank god I am still able to talk and text....for now
I think he meant agencies keeping his number in the good client list.I don’t know. You would have to ask them. If you do, that may require ID.
As for client files and stuff, just transfer your SIM card info. You don’t need to port your number to keep phone data. They can help you transfer in the store but backing up at home and restoring there should be easy enough. This all depends on the phone you have of course. iPhone, you simply have to touch the phones together now, it is that simple.

I finally got a new sim card as well but when I try to transfer my number to new sim card on upgraded network, the only options available are montly plans; no pay as you go. I tried getting clarification and/ or assistance but no luck so far.Picked up a replacement SIM from 7 eleven and I can get my old number back, but it looks like they don't have pay as you go anymore... cheapest plan $19/month.
Any luck? I have just kept my old sim in for now and everything still works.I finally got a new sim card as well but when I try to transfer my number to new sim card on upgraded network, the only options available are montly plans; no pay as you go. Dialling *777# shows remaining balance and expiry date.
On their website, adding credits doesn't show how long it lasts for (ex was $25/360 days) and now they took that away.

Just phoned a Chatr store. $150 one year unlimited texts and calls. $10.00 for the sim card. No id required. Cash accepted. This will be a vexxing problem if it proves to be impossible to get a plan without a credit card involvement.
Can anyone confirm that with Good2Go you can top up repeatedly using cash?
So this sounds like the best option now, right? This is a special deal or always on?Just phoned a Chatr store. $150 one year unlimited texts and calls. $10.00 for the sim card. No id required. Cash accepted.
