I got a new replacement SIM card but not sure what I am supposed to do. Called customer service 1-866-310-1023 multiple times and cannot get through to anyone. Website isn't helpful at all. Thank god I am still able to talk and text....for now
I went to one store so far and the clerk had no clue just like @carloska1961 reported. Did the replacement SIM card not come with instructions? If memory serves my old SIM came with explicit instructions on how to register by phone or online.

Picked up a replacement SIM from 7 eleven and I can get my old number back, but it looks like they don't have pay as you go anymore... cheapest plan $19/month.

So with speakout, if you are on pay as you go, will they cut your service off even if you phone is compatible?

I don’t know. You would have to ask them. If you do, that may require ID.

As for client files and stuff, just transfer your SIM card info. You don’t need to port your number to keep phone data. They can help you transfer in the store but backing up at home and restoring there should be easy enough. This all depends on the phone you have of course. iPhone, you simply have to touch the phones together now, it is that simple.
I think he meant agencies keeping his number in the good client list.

I finally got a new sim card as well but when I try to transfer my number to new sim card on upgraded network, the only options available are montly plans; no pay as you go. I tried getting clarification and/ or assistance but no luck so far.

Any luck? I have just kept my old sim in for now and everything still works.
Dialling *777# shows remaining balance and expiry date.
On their website, adding credits doesn't show how long it lasts for (ex was $25/360 days) and now they took that away.

I am trying to port out from speakout to freedom. Used my phone number as account number in port out request, but did not received any text on speakout yet. This was second attempt to port out.

Did anyone else faced challenges while porting out from speakout plan?

My “local” 7-11 did not have any SIM cards in stock and they had no idea when a new supply would arrive.

I had just over $100 balance, did not want to lose so I ordered a SIM card online….cost me $20 to ship to me….canada post on strike.

Lost my 365 plan….new plan is $19 per Month….LOOKING FOR A NEW PLAN.

I have read that petro Canada offers a similar plan to 7-11. If you add $50 credit to your pay as you go plan, plan expiry is 365 days….

can anyone confirm? I am sure there are cheaper plans then what the new spaeakout plan is charging ($19 per month).

Is anyone out here really surprised this is a shit show ?
My phone still works and I can view my balance on Speak Out.
I'm not going to even try and visit a 7 Eleven for a new sim, going o ride it out and may switch and if i get a new number so be it.

F'ing Rogers man, anytime you involve any wireless provider with any service it juts turn into a wide awake nightmare.

Also, fizz.ca offers a base talk and text plan for $17 a month and I'll go with that purely based on principal, giving these f'ers as little of my $ as possible.

This will be a vexxing problem if it proves to be impossible to get a plan without a credit card involvement.

Can anyone confirm that with Good2Go you can top up repeatedly using cash?
