Not sure why anyone would hire him as he seems like a blowhard who wears out his welcome fairy quickly. Wonder how long he will last?

Has Mario Lemieux lost his mind, is he saying to Sid, "no more Cups for you".

Or as Tony Soprano said, "two pricks with hockey sticks, my self-esteem is at an all time low".

Damn he's the best one on the Fan590......

I like Burke. Finished his book in a day. You swear you can hear him narrating the pages as you are reading them.

The ending is something like well I hope you enjoyed reading this but if you didn't I don't really care, lol.

I know the Burke era in Toronto wasn't a pleasant one but He's been impactful mostly in every other organization he has been with.

Seems he treats his players with respect as well. No nonsense and right to the point. Old school I like that.

I liked him on Sportsnet. I enjoyed his stories, insight, arrogance and all. Shit, now we have to endure more of Anthony Stewart who sucks.

The interesting thing about him going to the Pens is that he's stated on multiple occasions that their cup window has closed and they're not good enough to compete with the likes of the Flyers, Lightning etc.

Calgary had enough of him. They can't compete anymore with their current roster. It would be interesting to see what Crosby and malkin would fetch for a team on the cusp. They're not playing through a rebuild and they could fetch a boatload of picks which they have none of.

Crosby may end up in Montreal yet if they have picks to give. Malkin maybe to st Louis or Vegas or Colorado if it works.

Not a chance Sidney Crosby will be going to Montreal...

Thank God that blowhard is not longer on Sportsnet....maybe he can hire Anthony Stewart as well (waste of space at the desk).
Kevin Bieksa is a star!

Burke gives off the “He’s only happy when he’s miserable” persona. He’s the living embodiment of curmudgeon

At 33 (34 at the end of the season) I would not consider impossible.

Sydney played his Junior hockey in Rimouski, Quebec and has since made numerous trip to montreal and Tremblant. He grew up as a Canadian fans (as many in the maritimes do). I am pretty sure it would be is favorite choice but the problem is at what cost?? It actually is not very favorable for the Habs due to his age.

Another factor is his girlfriend. Do they want to settle down have kids?? Then Montreal is again a great choice. Or does she wants to go for the famous big city... New York or LA... Not sure if she's still very active in her modeling career. Would not be the first time that the wife get's to decide next step ;)

Why would Crosby and his wife, Kathy Leutner, who is an American citizen, want to go to Montreal to pay 3x the tax as they do now?

He's an absolute icon in Pittsburgh...his day's of dreaming of being a Montreal Canadien are 20 years in the past.

Weber and Price aren't getting any younger. If possible and at a reasonable cost, adding Crosby might be just enough to bring home the Cup or at least get them deeper in the playoffs. Agreed, probably a long shot but Spezza, Simmonds and Thornton came home to finish their careers. Why not Sid?

Quebec taxes can be managed. In our company, we "top-up" "imported" employee salaries to offset the extra taxes if they are transferred to Quebec

Spezza, Simmons and Thornton couldn’t get contracts anywhere else...Crosby has shown no indication that he wants to leave and the Penguins have shown no interest in letting him go.
