Came here to Toronto from Saguenay 3 weeks ago, we get snow for more than half a calendar year. Watching these Toronto drivers drive during that snow storm on Saturday was amusing.

Growing up in York Region in tge 70’s, we definitely had snowfall like tgat and more. Our house backed into open fields and we’d get 5-6’ drifts.
Used to have a FULL downhill skiing season at Uplands in Thornhill, Honey Pot in Maple, Mount Garbage in Etobicoke at 401/427.

politics aside, Our climate is definitely changing.

It's encouraging we're getting our weather back. Fuck Global Warming.
Look how many people die from cold vs. heat every year. Then you may not be so against global warming. Just sayin'

I think it's important to realize that extreme weather (both hot AND cold) is made worse by climate change. So, while we may see more milder average winter temps, the potential for huge snowstorms actually increases bc there's more moisture in the air and it messes with natural seasonal change as a result. It's literally the worst of both worlds.

Typical alarmist blather. Blaming CO2 levels for extreme heat, extreme cold, drought, floods and pretty much any natural climate disaster. The only thing missing are facts and empirical evidence to back those claims up.

There was a young man from Quebec
Who fell through the ice up to his neck
When they asked, "Are you frizz?"
He replied "Yes I is. But we don't call this cold in Quebec"

Need a more Johnny Cash approach:

I hear the snow a-comin', it's rolling 'round the bend
And I ain't seen the sunshine since I don't know when
I'm buried in Timmins city, and time keeps draggin' on
But that snow keeps a-rollin' on down to Wawaitin Falls

I would get into the fact that this is agreed upon by the overwhelming majority of scientists etc etc but then I realized we're on a forum for reviewing sex workers and one of my standing new years resolutions is to stop engaging bad actors online, so instead I'll say:

Have a great day and stay warm.

Growing up in the West end of Toronto a while ago.

We had hockey leagues that played their entire season on natural outdoor ice.

Neighbourhood schools, churches and parks had rinks, with boards. Parent volunteers did the maintenance.
