Bully ex messing with my $

So apparently my ex keeps going on my bp ad and deleting my escort ad- 2 days in a row now AFTER i have changed password.

I haven't made a cent in 2 days, and i feel that if i go through the trouble to make a new email with strong password like the last he is just going to do the same thing. Please help!!

He is pro con artist/hacker .........

You have to change your email settings. You have secret questions and alternate emails addresses to help you get back into your account if you ever forgot your password. He probably knows enough about you to answer those questions or he may have made one of his email addresses, your alternate email address where your password gets sent.

He can get access to anything if he has your email address password.

I don't know how he could just figure out your password if you changed it to something more difficult, unless he had access to your email account.

Yeah, make a separate email just for ads. That way it's not posted anywhere & he won't even know the email address in order to hack anything. Definitely change all of your settings-- backup email, security questions, etc. Try using questions and passwords someone else gives you, or based on answers your best friend, mom, or someone else would give. Just a thought, any chance he installed a key logger on your phone or computer? I had a friend with a crazy ex who did that. I'm not sure how to find them or get rid of them, but I'm sure someone somewhere does and has posted a how to.

If your ex is logging into your email with new passwords then he must be connected to your home network. Getting technical here, on your router, is it configured for the public. ie can anyone within connect to it without a password? Is so you need to make your network private.

If your network is private then you will need to reset the passwords that allow your devices access to your router, ie laptop, tablet, phone, tv if you have Netflix, game consoles etc. If you need help with this, contact your ISP.

Then change all of your passwords. Hope this helps.

Actually, he may not be hacking your email or account at all. All he needs to do is use the "report ad" link that on your BP ad, just says it's inappropriate (it's one of the three options) and does this from several different IP's, the ad will get removed. The BP web site management wait for different people to complain but if he has access to change his IP's and make the complaint a number of times, he can get the ad removed.

Andy makes a good point. You can find out if the ad was "community removed" or flat out deleted by logging into your account with Backpages. There should be a page that lists all of your ads You've ever made with that email address. It will show which ads are currently running and the ones that have been removed, deleted or expired.

If he's flagging your posts at least you know he doesn't have your passwords. You should change your security questions though, just in case. If he is close to you, he might have enough info to get into your accounts. You might not think they remember that stuff or they weren't paying attention or something, then one day you might not be able to access anything linked to that email account. I had a vindictive boyfriend steal a main email account from me just because he could. It was of no use to him, he just wanted to inconvenience me. I lost all my photo's and contacts and all of my social media stuff was linked to that account so for a short time he was getting all the notifications from my activity on facebook and stuff. Men are f*cked

Also check your puter .. theres a ton of keystroke mailware out there which means he can have access to everything you type.

This isn't the first time that an ex tries to sabotage things.

(It's not easy for an SP to have a relationship from what I've seen. I hope you meet the right guy when the time is right again.)
