Are there any stores in Buffalo or Cheektowaga area that are reasonably priced for memory cards? Last minute trip to visit a friend there and since this is last minute, I didn't have time to order anything from NewEgg or Amazon. So....?

Best Buy, Office Depot, Office Max, Ultimate Electronics (a new store) and Wall Mart come to mind and are all around Galleria Mall. Best prices were before Xmas and have gone up a bit since. If you come Sunday best to check out Buffalo Sunday paper ad inserts for best sale prices. They all have web sites.

For Memory cards, you're better off heading to Canada Computers... and pretty much anything else computer related.

Okay, so how about internet providers. Something reliable and and with various pricing offers. She essentially wants/needs the cheapest service for DSL/Cable since she won't be surfing much. Say a $20/monthly plan? Any recommendations on who to go with in the Cheektowaga area?

Around here you have Time Warner Cable, Verizon and Cricket wireless as well as Sprint and ATT

Not sure you can get below 40 a month. Best bet is convince a neighbor with WIFI to allow her to put a repeater in and let her use it for 20 a month.

he is alive and well, but, I thought he was in Florida.

He comes back to WNY to visit family every year.
