Damn just seen ole BUDDY bought the farm. I really enjoyed his acting, and i just seen he was an ILLINOIS boy born on this side of the Mississippi river from ST. LOUIS. I still crack up every time i see the Beverly Hillbillies. that show is an all time great. RIP BUDDY.

Reunion has been out for some time. Irene Ryan, who played Granny, has been died for years.

What ever happened to Donna Douglas (not to mention Mary Anne from Gilligan's Island). I always wanted to taste her possum pie.

The Beverly Hillbillies is one of my all time favourites. A recurring theme was "you can't cheat an honest man" and nobody was more honest (and likeable) than Buddy Ebsen as Jed Clampett.

Trivia: The ill-fated Sharon Tate appears in many episodes as secretary Janet Trego at the bank.

I thot granny was a walking corpse before the show ever aired (look for her on the cover of the cast album of the broadway musical "Pipin"

As for Donna, she really does look after her "critters" and has retained the trademark golden locks.

Mary Anne did show up recently on a "behind the scenes" expose about Gilligan's Island where most of the cast/crew were well portrayed exept for poor Tina Louise!

Typical bait & switch operation: they promise an Elly May, and you get Granny instead. Or maybe Miss Jane Hathaway

Could you imagine getting Sharon Tate. Never knew she was on the show. I remember her in The Valley of the Dolls. Oh my was she beautiful.

Sharon was quite the looker...imagine Roman Polanski was quite distraught when she got "cut" from his life script...must have been the reason he snapped and went for the jail-bait.
