Do crepes count?
If I had my choice I'd probably indulge in these crepes, wine and of course some fantastic company. I'll take any excuse to make a night of indulging the senses and playing around with different combinations of texture, taste, scent, and of course the sights and sounds in the kitchen because that almost always carries on outside the kitchen. ;)

How about you? Would you prefer a simple Nigella type serving or something more complex on your tongue?

Of course crepes count.

I'm certain even Laddie will agree Crêpes are magnifique....;)

Of course crepes count! (And I ALWAYS like complex things for my tongue...) ;)

There was a restaurant in Ottawa I went to years ago, not sure if it is still there, I think it was called Le Creperie... They had a seafood crepe dish that was exquisite!

I also like the Dutch variation called "poffertjes". They are basically mini pancakes piled on a plate with all sorts of toppings, e.g. diced fruit, whipped cream, drizzled with chocolate sauce and sprinkled with icing sugar... About a billion calories! Haven't had them in years! Very decadent...

Now-a-days I don't eat pancakes very often, but I make them all the time for my kids... usually w/ blue berries or chocolate chipits or something...
