Her weight is quoted in British pounds... (oh that is bad even for me).

Yeah, I guess Brits aren't generally overweight. Heck I see bigger people every day out and about.

Heck, I used to work with someone who was 1.5 times as big as she is.....but they DID say "britain's biggest TEEN"

I mean heck, if that was in the US she'd be classified as "a few extra pounds" or "average" lol (when posting a personals profile)

Big butts don't lie,she wants to do her way.

She needs to wear a steam suit(custom) tape up the openings and steam her 'for 6 hours everyday 'till she can walk with out aid.
Then comes the home fitness and diet plan and surgery.

They are the most overweight in Europe. And while I have seen people as big as her in North America... I can't say I've seen too many 15-yr olds that size ever...

Some years back I visited St. Luca which I found out was a popular destination for British families. The British teens I saw there more then reviled their North American counter parts.

I hope the kid in this story gets the help she needs.

I think "what she eats in one day" may be the problem. What the hell are the parents thinking? I doubt she's buying all that crap herself at 15. She likely gets most of it from the parents' cupboard/fridge.
The article says her father's dead and the kid blames her overeating on his death. So in this case, it's "parent" singular. However, her mother looks to be almost as fat as the kid so you're probably right about where she gets most of her food. Mom's probably the sort who eats to ease stress so she's a good role model if you want a child half the size of a Volkswagen.

Say, aren't psychiatric services covered under Britain's NHS?
