Like this will stop prostitution in England, I would classify this move as "dumb-ass". Not only will they not be able to do it, it will also give Punternet a huge surge in popularity.

The Punternet is Britain’s version of TERB. I haven’t used it looked at it for several years as I do not live there anymore, but it was very useful for finding who was available in your area and what services they provide. I cannot see shutting down would serve any useful purpose. Also I didn’t know it was based in California.

Actually, the site owners need to be at least somewhat concerned. I am sure that Fred Zed could tell you more than a couple of horror stories about running an SP chat board, and this one is fairly tame. Having one that actively lists girls, well... can you say "big doggie"?

Beyond the fact that the Hon. Harriet Harman, Minister for Women and Equality is generally speaking an idiot. She certainly fails to grasp the First Amendment to the U.S. Constitution and the concept of Constitutionaly protected free speech.
