Today it has turned out the city where Greta once instigated a climate strike still retains
its sanity.

In the midst of a climate and ecological crisis, Government planners have given Bristol Airport the go-ahead to expand.

In principle I am against the expansion out of concern of the impact of all the extra
NO2 dumped into the atmosphere but we should not let climate lunatics dictate our
environmental policy.

oil and gas is very much triggered by Greta.
I think he's afraid of the children, who are rightfully angry at big oil and gas for what they are doing and have done.

Without Thunberg's opposition I'd still think transport infrastructure program
like this though undesirable from an environmental perspective is often inevitable.
I believe gradual reduction of energy consumption on a global scale is urgently needed
to conserve remaining fossil energy resources to power conversion of existing industrial
energy infrastructure to renewable energy and construction of nuclear power plants.
That doesn't mean we have to put a ban on all future projects on highway construction
or pipeline extension out of fears of climate activists blocking the traffic or eco-terrorists
blowing up the pipelines.

BTW, I am against flying but would opt to fly anyway even though Greta
is against it.
