6 mos to a year tops. If they are old enough to ask for it, I think it's time to stop.

When the baby teeth come in. As in who the heck wants to be bitten? As for ending bottle feeding I guess when they are fully onto solid food.

Seems to work for them, who am I to judge their habits? Makes me think that Bethany and Eliza will grow up to become highly enthusiastic cum swallowers and perhaps bisexual as well.

Well Jade I would consider this out of the norm but not unnormal. It is not bad for the children, on the contrary breast milk is an excellent food source. My concern is for the mother as brest feeding drains the mother of nutrients. Most children ween themselves by the age of three. My question is what is mom getting from the experience as she seems to be encouraging it. I believe if you peel back the layers of mom's psyche there are issues with being needed, feeling indespensible, etc.

I wonder also how much of this was Dads encouragement. I hated it that the vid ended where it did. The Dad was like, where is mine and she chuckled and it ended. I wonder if the Dad himself doesn't have a breastfeeding fetish and has also encouraged it to go on for milk availability.

As for me I do not judge others choices. I breastfed my first one a little past my second pregnancy. I started to feel that with one growing inside and one nursing outside it was too much on my body and possibly taking away from the one inside that is growing too. My second one I nursed just short of two years. I however would not nurse till even 4 years as I do not want my child nursing and starting school or having that much of an attachment to me when they are now ready to start a new beginning in life such as school and being around a lot more children. To me starting school is the start of breaking free and learning independency. I think it would be dreadful a child going in the first day of school with more seperation issues than needed. I want my Mommy because....

Lindsay Wagner once said she breastfeed her son until he was 7. It is more of a matter of perceptions I guess.

Personal choice...but seems to me 8 months to a year...beyond that they are receiving most of their nutrients from solid food and can drink dairy milk and coca cola :D
I don't think a child gets any nutrient value or antibiotic value from mothers milk beyond that...
The smile on the mothers face seems to say it all...it isn't about the child it is about her holding on to her baby!

All the research indicates that it is critical that they be almost entirely nursed up to six months. Higher IQ, better immune system, you name it. Six months to a year, some nursing still is good. After that, no benefit, but no harm unless it gets out of hand. My wife did not nurse past a year, but she hung out with a group that were nursing up to school age, the entire family would sleep in a "family bed", with kids up to school age. To me, that is messed up. Some were sandals and granola freaks, others just had a problem saying no.

I've often wondered about that too, these young girls getting breast implants and how safe it is to nurse babies when the mother has implants. Also if the breasts work equally as well with them being inside. Is there any health effects to the mother or the infant where breast implants are concerned?

I think you can still nurse with the implants but when it's time to burp they blow bubbles! That drift away, floating on air ...

Hey C Dick, did your sexy wife breast feed after she had those beautiful implants or before? Just curious.
You asked, so here is your too much information. The answer is: nursing first, she had regular nice big tits before kids. Then when she nursed, she turned out to be a milk machine, they got giant and hard and sprayed milk all the time, too bad I am not into that. Then when she weaned the last one, she was left with giant skin, and no breast tissue inside, it had all been replaced by milk ducts. It was brutal. So then she went for the implants, and she actually had to have a skin reduction, because without it, they would have just been too insanely big. The reduction was a mistake though, we should have just bitten the bullet and gone with the basketballs, she lost a lot of the feeling from the reduction.

My friend had implants before her kids, she nursed them for a year each with no problems, they basically went back to normal after the last kid. If the surgeon does his job properly, it is no problem.
