When reached for comment (via his heavily guarded penthouse), Mr. Hughes replied "I can bid on anything...I am even considering buying that soccer team in Toronto...you know, the Argonauts". Details of the bid became public shortly after it crossed the Dow Jones Newsire. In the offer, Mr. Hughes plans to pay a Mr. Goober McFly almost 1,000,000 Lira in unmarked bills, and even more outrageous is his offer to Sheik of 1.2 million pesos for the rights to acquire Terb.
