Who's at fault here?? Cops too heavy-handed or a fair response??

As always, alcohol is the cause and solution to all the worlds problems 😀

I tend to be pretty critical of cops resorting to violence but it looks like security called the cops, the cops detained one guy who was calm and then the entitled drunks tried to intervene. I'd ask questions about the cop pushing the woman over but drunk women in heels aren't exactly stable to begin with and the others who tried to fight the cops over it deserve charges.

It is not important who started the brawl. What is important to note is how the cops did not even think of pulling a gun to shoot these people or even restrain them despite the physical assault on the cops.

Unlike this case here where a cop almost shot a pregnant woman for a mistake her 4 year old made by taking a doll from the dollar store.

Let this be a lesson to all the outraged right wingers who say there is no systemic racism or that BLM is a farce.

Pretty sure that video was shared weeks ago.
1) cops don’t know what else might be in her lap or under the seat. Especially in the US

2) cops do have a right to compliance

3) they should have de-escalated once it was clear she was unarmed and no weapon within reach.

4) your just getting and reacting to half the story. Said vehicle and occupants had fled an attempt to arrest a little before and one occupant was wanted on warrant. Completely changes things.

“funny that”

Was that the thread where you said you think cops should have their gun out during every interaction with the public because on a few occasions the people become violent?

learn to read.

Have not said every, ever..Have said “why so much”
Maybe you also missed the thread where some guy ambushed them at a minor accident. Before they cleared holsters two were down and one managed 1 panicked shot before he was killed…

Somehow, I highly doubt you’d have the stones to wear their uniforms.

lmao “few occasions”
We are talking about the US. And aren’t you one that think guns should be banned and semi’s aren’t needed. Specifically because of the violence in the US. Do you ever pause long enough to think?

As I said, you're pretty clearly arguing that because there are the occasional case of criminals killing a cop, cops should treat every interaction as if the citizens are actually armed killers.

Every cop will have dozens of daily interactions with people and there are more than half a million cops in the country. The fact that every few weeks a cop gets shot at somewhere in the US shouldn't mean that every person gets treated as an active shooter. They still say to "Serve and Protect", not "treat everyone like threat".

Clearly you struggle to read.. Clearly, you have some immature bone to pick. Where do you see the words “active shooter”?

Clearly, you struggle to think, you think cops should only draw their guns when someone is already shooting at them and too often that’s too late.

Clearly, you also haven’t thought about how often, an untrained person shoots at them and misses. Let alone so much more.

Clearly, you forget there are incidents where people are armed but don’t shoot at them. Therefore no stats.

Clearly, you struggle to understand what over 400 million known firearms vs 370 million people might suggest. That it’s an armed camp????

Clearly, you don’t have the brain power to remember many states don’t have much in the way of gun controls…

Clearly, you don’t have the brain power to think about how easy it is for anyone, to get firearms there. Including those with mental health issues. Never mind, anyone with a criminal record, or someone that doesn’t want to be arrested. Nor have you ever tried to deal with someone that does have some kind of MH issue, or doesn’t want to be arrested.

Clearly, you don’t engage your brain long enough to remember there are also states with concealed carry..let alone, criminals…

Clearly, much like firearms in general you have zero, no idea, about law enforcement. Norwould you ever have the backbone to wear a uniform.you just chirp from the safety of your armchair.

Clearly, you don’t seem to grasp that a persons demeanor, compliant versus resistance, or compliant vs aggressive or hostile…..determines a lot.

clearly, despite being little more than a Google user, who has probably never been in any kind of danger… You don’t even bother to check if your own words, hold any water.

“every few weeks”??

Clearly you don’t have the IQ to think that there are incidents (probably tens or hundreds of thousands) when there are or might be, guns or knives hidden in pockets, in purses, under jackets, under seats,…but no one gets shot and becomes a statistic.

Maybe because sometimes cops are fast to draw theirs?

Nowhere because that would be the only place where a police response like the one in that thread was justified. Sure you have some personal wounds about anti-police violence but that kind of event is far, far more rare the occasions where poorly trained cops worry more about protecting their asses than actually doing their job. Imagine a war where all the soldiers chose to hide behind their civilians instead of trying to protect them?

Hold on. I thought you changed the subject to “he thinks cops should have their guns out all the time”… back pedal much?

And as I said if you could read and took the time to.

clearly you struggle with a lot. Anything beyond basic English ( even that…) so I’ll translate and dumb it down for you.
“I must have been mistaken” .

As for the rest, clearly…you don’t know or think much…

I'm not the one who needs to break his posts into sentence fragments.

And I'll stand by my statement; in the other thread you argued that cops should have their guns out because in a very, very, very small percentage of police interactions, a cop gets shot. Sorry but they keep saying their job is to serve and protect yet it seems the only thing you want them to protect is their own asses.

Why else would police be issued firearms?
Answer: Due to the possibility firearms might be present?

Clearly, you don’t think much, know much. Nor remember much. You can’t even remember what you say in your own post just up above. You keep changing it. Obviously, you don’t stand by your statements either.

I'm sure in your deep knowledge of police procedure you can describe the policies Canadian cops have about drawing their weapon.

I have life insurance because of the possibility of death but that doesn't mean I should wave it around at every person I see.

When buddy said "you're going to jail", would have been funny if the cop said "I AM JAIL!" 😂

The chick in the red dressed is evil af, she kicked and then stomped at the guys bag, wtf.
A lot of the comments below the video are hilarious lmao

For the non Massachusetts people, Marshfield and Milton are ground zero for "do you know who I am?"

I Fought the Law and the law won

All dressed up nice. It must have been a great party. Family parties can get the most volatile. Some nice pictures, a wonderful video, and booking statements for the photo album.
