They do but in a sneaky way I suspect, every time they get a quote from something, the price they are given is either the retail price,or the price they would get an an auction if it has value above and beyond retail.

They sell most of their stuff via thrift stores, and you don't go to a thrift store to buy a used item that is retail priced, you look for something cheaper, and if you auction something off the auctioneer takes a cut of whatever it goes for.And if you sell to a middleman you won't get full price either. Passante once sold a Gold Plated Horse head sign the appraiser said was worth 3k, but only paid em2k for it.

And Brandi is a cutie, she seems like a very down to earth kind of girl with a good sense of humour, and she's cute to boot with a nice rack, it's a very appealing combo

The show is very lucky that the a**hole has such are hottie for a wife. Without Brandi and the old collector dude the show wouldn't be worth watching.

Auction Hunters guys annoy me, plus the fact that they try to come across as guys that know their shit so well.
It's amazing just how much they know about all the artifacts that they find in the units.
