Christ really?..........How about parting with a few dollars of which you wouldn't have except for somebodies honesty.

The Nosirus had already validated the ticket with the OLG via telephone before they lost it. The ticket was no good to the person who found it. Since the ticket had already been validated there is absolutely no way the person who found the ticket could have cashed it. After some investigation and further questioning the rightful winners would have been given their prize money even if the ticket had not been found.

The couple had signed the ticket, photocopied the ticket and even had the store video showing them purchase the ticket. They were going to get prize even if the actual ticket did not materialize. It just would have taken a bit longer. You should post all the facts before presenting a poll.

I think if I found I won, say at a terminal in a store, I'd immediately hop in a cab and go down to OLG and get my cheque.

Why wait?

You're going to be in the spot light no matter what. Might as well get it over with and then disappear for a couple of months to Europe.

Tey should give the person who returned the ticket at least $2M.

I know Lotto Max prize is tax-free. I wonder if any reward given will be taxable ???
You can include another person as part of your "winners group" and wouldn't have to give them a gift.

That's true. Why the fuck wait?

What if you get run over by a car? I wanna make sure I cash it and deposit/invest it. Then I can take my time how I want to spend it, etc. etc. Update your will and take care of your loved ones. Don't forget some of your favourite regulars too. (I"d probably go away with a couple of great gals...hmmmmm, Paige Belle and Angel MOnroe......or Sydney De Sade and Candice Cane......).

Give me at least a million for your lost ticket to buy some peace of mind.

You never know if someone (not sayin' it's me) may burn down your new mansion.

I'd give them a minimum of 2 million which would leave me with 48 large. If they were worried about tax implications, I'd offer to give them cash. I'd then make sure my closest friends and family were looked after. Hell, I could look after a lot of people with the interest alone.

†OLG Prize Centre is closed on all statutory holidays. It is also closed on Saturday if a statutory holiday falls on a Monday or Friday.

I'm sure if you won 50 million you'd have more than a few people looking for a handout. I'd be more likely to give money to those who didn't ask for it.
