If it was true (I tend to believe it) - she didn't want to embarrass him when he was alive as they were friends. She is a colorful Hollywood actress who wrote her about her own life. She never sent the clippings to the press (probably her publisher did). She can write whatever she wants - half the people in her life are dead - she can't write because you can't fact check every detail ?
