Bourdain would still be alive today if he had listened to his ex-wife Ottavia Busia. She wanted a more sedate lifestyle instead of the grinding travel schedule he kept. Bourdain was too addicted to the lifestyle, she left him while they were filming in Napoli. She brought him back from the brink and got him fit, he dumped her for a watery tart.
