Ummm... crossing the border illegally has been an ongoing problem pre-covid to now.
Then road closing recently doesnt do any justice in regards to the thousands that came here unchecked.

As a matter of fact I do know the date and details of the first reported entry into Canada of covid.
The first Canadian case of the novel coronavirus was reported by Health Canada on Jan. 25, 2020, in a Toronto man who had recently travelled to Wuhan, China. The day of his flight was Jan. 22 from Beijing, major Canadian airports in Montreal, Toronto and Vancouver had already introduced new screening measures for passengers returning from China with flu-like symptoms. The man didn’t have any symptoms when he arrived, but the next day, he became so sick that he required a trip to the hospital on the evening of Jan. 23, 2020. The team at Toronto's Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre decided to admit the 56-year-old patient due to the severity of his symptoms and his positive result came back on the 25th. Luckily the only other infection from his trip was his wife, it is assumed that he was not in an infectious state during the flight since everyone on the fight with him tested negative for the virus.
Obviously there was covid in Canada before the closing of the crossing but there is no evidence to show that anyone who crossed at that border crossing brought covid in with them.
And my whole family will be sitting down for Good Friday and Easter dinners with the same expectations!!!!
