Boat Cruise?

Anyone interested in helping me plan a boat cruise?

I am thinking the one of the nice larger ones that can hold 150 people or more in the Quay downtown Toronto.

With food and cash bar...

I have been on a few of them, but one that is Terb related would be interesting...

A couple questions...

1. Ladies... how much would you pay or would you want it to be free?

2. Men... If tickets were like $60 per head for everyone, would you be willing to pay 80 or 100 so the ladies pay 40 or 20... how about 120 if the ladies would come for free?

At that price I believe dinner and a couple drinks would be included from past boat cruises I have been on...

Let's talk about this... I should have done a search before I posted, but I got all excited over the thought...

Not the type of cruise I am thinking...

Hmm... The boat cruise I am talking about is a private party cruise, with music, food, drinks... these boats can handle up to 300 or so people...

You get on at 7, is tours lake ontario and comes back after 1am...

to charter them costs $3,000 - $5,000 and up plus, food, DJ, bar, etc...

do the math...

I'd be more than willing to help out Sandro. I've got some spare time and have organized these kinds of events in the past.

I'd be willing to pay $50 for cruise and dinner, or $30 for cruise only, if that helps any.

FYI

My company just organised one of these cruises for our summer social. The total cost per person for the cruise and dinner is $45. No drinks are included and it's a cash bar.

The cruise line is called Mariposa. http://www.mariposacruises.com

Sea sick on Lake Ontario, more from the smell I would think.

Anyway, I don't think dinner is necessary either, but possibly h'or d'oerves (screw it, snacks, I can't find my French dictionary). If you are to be trapped with a bunch of sex hungry people, and a bar, I would think some finger foods might be fun.

I've also seen casinos for charity offered on the Mariposa cruises, which are always fun.

Possibly one of the smaller vessels without the lower dining room would be best for a basic dance with snacks and a cash bar. Less cash committment as well.

I'm thinking the opposite should apply...

This event would be a perfect opportunity for SPs and other providers to introduce themselves to potential clients and network for more business. As such, I don't see why the customers should subsidise or pay for their tickets.

I propose the opposite. The women should pay the greater share of the cost since they'll be guarantying themselves a captive and receptive audience of potential customers.

When regular "service providers" are trying to gain customers in the business world, it is the vendor that springs for the entertainment to entice the customer.

Why should we pay for the ladies' opportunity to get free advertising and exposure? If they are good marketers, they'll probably make back many times the cost of their tickets...possibly even before the cruise is over.

.... because Zog, due to the popularity of Terb parties, many of us already know each other and feel it would be an ideal opportunity, not to strenghten business relationships, but to damn well have fun without the need to market ourselves at the same time.

Personally I rarely mix business with pleasure, I have a web site and various internet advertisements to market my assets and reach out to potential clients.

Sandro: I would be more than willing to purchase my own ticket and I think it is marvellous idea - better than yet another strip club.

I was out a few weeks ago on a cruise to raise money for cancer research. We left at noon, had a nice lunch and had a cash bar. They had a live band and a DJ. We all had a great time, and then went a bit touristy for the out of towners in our group. We went to the Hard Rock cafe, danced on the bar to YMCA, and went to see a friend of mine who was playing at Yonge and Eg.
I would love to join another cruise anytime soon, day or night. Can someone start the organizing, this way we don't have to worry about strip clubs on a week night.
The biggest issue about SCs was they were too busy on week-ends. This way it is just the TERB members and their guests.

I think it is a great idea, and perhaps the head pie man could make this a sticky and we could get it together while we still have good weather.

So Astra, I'll pick you up on the way down?

It's been a while, and as you said a cruise, some wine, some nice chit chat - can't think of a better way to end the summer.

La ou le plaisir n'a pas de limite...
For the betting public only

1. This event actually takes place 14.5 to 1

2. If this does take place, there are more than 60 people 9 to 1

3. Over and Under on the number of people that attend 31.5

4. Odds there are at least 5 people that cant make it last minute, because they dont have a ride 4-1

5. Over and under on the number of minutes it takes Miranda to respond to my post 48.5

Excellent idea

Last month I was on a smaller boat 50 people, cruising Toronto Islands.....the men who were part of the cruise split the cost between the number of tickets sold...they then invited a number of SP's and dancers (and paid us to be there)....it was a 4 hour cruise.

eroticdaniella,

Please let me know how to get invited to such an event. Strip club on Lake Ontario - what an excellent idea. Did they have a VIP area for the private dances? What was ratio of men, SP, dancers?
