I've been fucked over by Sportsnet (and Rogers, and Bell and.. and ...and..) by continuing to charge my card or increasing prices and making it hard and time consuming to cancel... so FUCK 'EM!

Can anyone suggest how I might find a way to stream the Blue Jays playoff games free somewhere?

No. Despite having a big 70" 4K unit, I don't watch a lot of TV. But I have both the high end Roku and Amazon Firesstick units. I know I cam 'sideload' stuff on the Firestick.

BTW, the SportsNet app on theFirestick is a horribly complex, glitchy app with lousy user interface. PITA to log in and kicks me out often. When I had my Sportsnet subscription, I just used Apple Airplay screen mirroring to cast the show from my browser.

I've been thinking of getting a grey market Android box and subscription off kijiji or at the Flea Market and use a VPN and non-logging DNS loaded directly on my router.

I am morally opposed to, and hate to pirate stuff but these streaming services are so criminally fraudulent in the way they abuse having my credit card. And my card won't refund the extra charges past a month or two AND they also won't block my card from them. So fuck 'em...

Same with F1. I tried the F1 subscription last year and it was also not a good experience.

Any suggestions for an android box and any pirate bundlers or VPN's etc are appreciated.

Ok. So I bought a box years ago, recently replaced it after 7 years. And no regrets. I pretty much just need cp24, a few other news stations and sports. I added my streaming services to the box. It also has youtube on it. The box was 60 bucks. Numerous ones on Amazon.

Get a box. There are several free TV apps. I use LiveTV.net. Works well. Has all sportsnet on them. Local news stations. Maybe 50 other stations. It's simple to operate. All on a remote once loaded. Comes with browsers built in to download apps.

If the cable companies offered the ability to choose stations I would go back. But it's what? 120+ a month? Fuck em.
