Has anyone here been to the Blue Heron Casino in Port Perry? In particular wondering about the poker tables there - do they get filled? I'm thinking of making a visit before the end of summer. Thanks.

Is always full on the weekends, you have to wait to get a seat on most occasions. I think is 100$ buy-in or something like that.

Its always busy there, try early morning or early afternoon. Also late night after midnight. The lowest limit is 5-10.

Was in Tbay recently....they had three tables running with 1/2 cash game. $100 buy in.

Two were running steady and the third was a 'filler table'.... Sometimes 5 on it, most times more. So you play at the filler table, until your name comes up and you MUST go to the permanent tables.

A good system, with no waiting to play.

sounds great. only problem is Tbay.
any casino close enough to T.O is brutal for waiting times (at least on weekends)

They force you to wait.......so that you will go out and throw a hundred bills in the slots.

Although u can call ahead......not sure it speeds things up on arrival.

The Blue Heron is a great casino, nice atmosphere and the buffet is awesome! The only problem is it's a long fucking drive back if you've had a loser day.

Call the poker hotline 905-985-4888 ext 263 , give them your name and the table you want to play on and they give you an hour to make it b4 they remove your name. You simply walk in and if you are there up to 1 hour after you call and there is a spot at the table and your name is up at the top you are next to play. This is what i do all the time.
