I am considering going to Blackbeards Resort in the Dominican Republic,

Room rates are darned cheap....what's the catch? (or should I say, what DO you catch lol)

Blackbeards is a bit out of the way in Costambar.
I would not stay here unless I had a car and I have no desire to drive there anyways.

I would rather stay at the Palace right in Sosua.
This way everything you need is a short walk.
Beach, restaurants, stores, casino, massage parlours, discos, ...

Another option is Field of Dreams.
This is a nice new place right on the main road between Sosua and Puerto Plata, closer to Puerto Plata.
Playa Dorada complex (where I stay) is right across the street with casinos, discos, golf, plaza, ...
Easy to get non-tourist taxis, buses, and motos.

Personally, I like to book a complete all-inclusive package for around $800 and just use very nice and cheap cabanas and on-site action.

have done a lot of research,on it,on another review board,all posts on it were positive,if you just want to have lots of no hassles sex at a very good cost,
but its not interesting otherwise,still its good for a 4 or 5 days ,then hit sosua,which isnt that great anymore

just got back from black beards. luckly i only booked a one night trial visit with options for extending my stay. i also booked all inclusive to playa dorado complex and took a taxi 20usd to blackbeards. lots of chicas to choose from and over priced for the DR. good place for 1st timers as the action comes to you. sousa was a lot better stayed 3 nights at the palace 35usd and everything available close by. best mps for 25usd and short term visits 40usd all nighters for 100usd from very hot 18 to 22 year olds. cyrstals and boheim for incalls for 100usd expensive by DR standards but quality looks and action. had 1 19year ols for three sog for 120usd. good luck i have been several times and am booked for us thanksgiving. go onto insearch of chicatas website for in depth info on DR and blackbeards. i have reviews etc there same handle.
