The Mike McCarthy hire by Steelers is puzzling but actually makes some sense, although the fans won't like it. With an aging roster and uncertainty at QB, they essentially just kicked the can down the road for 2-3 years with McCarthy as a temp place holder. maybe they will find a good QB thru draft in 2027. He is essentially a Tomlin 2.0, despite older.

Raiders should just reach out and hire Tomlin. Too many retreds, the owners are so cautious.

It's a moot point, as Rivers withdrew his application to be the new head coach of the Bills. On another point, I'm really glad Pegula fired McDermott. Time for a change in Bills culture!!
