Most sane people realize that a guy with a gun has to be neutralized, however the hood rat movement will be all over this one I suspect. Maybe it was suicide by choice?

Might think they could have tased him from behind, guy in a chair is fairly limited, too late now I guess.

Maybe he committed suicide by using the police to do a death by cop.

If he had a gun then it would be called self defence. All he had to do was put his hands up and comply and he would have been on his way. You are OK with people trying to protect the public getting shot by "thugs" that don't comply? smh

How idiotic does one have to be to NOT put your hands up when ordered to do so by multiple police officers with pistols in hand, and pointed at you??

The fact that he was a man of colour and in a wheel chair, are immaterial.

Way more to this story, I suspect.

You'll notice the chair had a high back. A taser has to hit with both probes. If the cops fired the taser from 10 feet away, the probes would be about 2 feet apart. No way to do it from behind. And with the reliable effective distance of a taser being about 15 feet, ain't no cop getting that close to a guy with a gun to try it.

I really wouldn't want to be a police officer. The intelligence of the general population would be difficult to deal with every day.

Hold on - trying to have sympathy; nope tried hard zero. You point a gun at a cop he tells you to put it down, seriously what does that person think will happen. It was suicide by cop. No one can be that stupid.
