Watched a repeat of the Season 1 interview by Elvis Costello of Bill Clinton aired on the Elvis Costello Spectacle

While there was obviously a musical slant to the interview, I have to say I came away being impressed by the intelligence and depth of Clinton. Surprised me really. I guess that one needs to be reminded that the image the media wishes to paint of public figures is often one dimensional and frequently inaccurate.

Having said that I remain convinced that Bush just wasn't that bright.

Bubba was a fascinating and impressive guy, masterful speaker with a photographic memory and no doubt an excellent professor back in the day.

Dubya OTOH would probably have trouble bedding a $20 hooker even after his DICK managed to procure one for him!....
