And oh yes, correct me if I am wrong, but I believe he is the only one who has not agreed to pay the money back. I don't think the RCMP is quite done yet with Mr Harb.

Now if we could only get Duffy and Wallin to resign.........hell get the whole Senate to resign would be the ideal

Harb has been a senator since 2003 and had spent many years before that as an Ottawa city counsellor and a federal MP. With such an extensive political background, he was at least reasonably qualified to be appointed to the senate. Too bad he couldn't resist abusing the system for all he could get.

Wallin was appointed in 2009 and was outpacing the other three in terms of the amount she was improperly claiming per year.

Duffy and Brazeau were both appointed in 2008.

It was more or less dumb luck that the senate finally woke up to these bogus expenses when it did. If they'd taken a few years longer to realize these expenses were out of line, I'm sure all 4 of these senators would have racked up some much larger numbers. Timing is the only difference.

Poor guy has to retire early....with a pension about 122,000 I believe......

But ya he is taking out a loan to pay the money back. And may still face charges of fraud.

I hope they get them all!
