Well, we've got movies on the brain today. To accompany the best movies thread, what is the best worst movie? What are your favorite bad movies? Movies that either bombed, but you totally dug it, or movies that are obviously and deliciously horrible.

Here's a couple of mine:

Howard the Duck
Big Trouble in Little China
Buckaroo Banzai Across the 8th Dimension
Mom and Dad Save the World

Kung Pow ( something like that ) bombed....... I enjoyed it.
Didn't quite stick as a movie, but has some funny moments/lines, great concept IMO.

So I Married an Axe Murderer
Drive Me Crazy
10 Things I Hate About You
Not Another Teen Movie
Coming to America

One Million Years B.C. with Raquel Welch!

Horrible, but was glued to the set when I got it on tape a few years back!

Best TV guilty pleasure.....1970's Charlie's Angels on DIVA or buy he new DVD of season 1. Now I remeber why i loved that show when I was 13! tight sweaters, lots of clevage and perpetual high beams....

I am glad someone brought up The English Patient, because I also thought that movie really sucked. Boring, overblown, plus I couldn't stand the two lead characters. I was so glad she died. And then I wanted him to die and the freaking movie to be over.

I don't know how the hell that movie won a Best Picture Oscar. Fargo or even Jerry Maguire were better movies than that snoozefest.

English Patient was pretty boring. I don't wish death upon anyone even if it is fictional.

Jerry Maguire was a laugh..."show me the money"....!

Still saying this to the bosses...

I'd add some B-movies:
-Glenn or Glenda, Plan 9 from Outer Space (both classics from Ed Wood)
-Reefer Madness

Let's not forget Deep Throat, still the best premiss of any porno - a clitoris in her throat.

Swamp Thing , from late 70's or early 80's , was pretty trashy but quite funny to watch.

The Evil Dead ( the first one ) was just...great.

Yes, Jerry Maguire has had pretty good staying powering in terms of contributing catch phrases to society.

In addition to 'show me the money', how can we forget such gems as 'help me help you', 'you complete me', 'you had me at hello', and of course, my personal favorite, 'don't ever stop fucking me'.

Shallow Throat's right: Plan 9 From Outer Space. The best scene: policeman chasing ghouls is thinking about what to do next, so he scratches his head in thought...using the barrel of his gun!

Repo Man
Remo Williams (Fred Ward at his best?)

Caveman with Ringo Starr and Shelly Long - hilarious and awful

DenWa...I think Fred Ward at his best as "The Right Stuff". Actually that was a hell of an ensemble cast.
Besides, Joel Gray stole the Remo Williams movie.
