Okay, my top 3 were the following:
1) FEDEX with the cavemen and the dinosaurs
2) ALEEVE with Leonard Nimoy at a Star Trek fan Convention
3) The Monkey Commercial with the guy on the phone saying we works with a bunch of monkeys and they pull the chair from him, while he's talking to a babe in another cubical who works with a bunch of jack-asses (i.e.: mules). Don't remember who was the CM for, figures....
Notables:
- Budweiser with the guys on the roof (although it could have been funnier), it was the best of the Bud commercials (I personally think that beer tastes like water and is crap).
- Fabio growing old under a bridge drawing a gondola for some dumb insurance company, however it would have been perfect for FABIO SHAMPOO (probably would have made him a billionaire if he had the stuff on the market after that broadcast).
- The other Monkey commercial with the chart on the wrong angle showing profits when it was actually showing losses and the Boss Monkey making the human put it back showing profits. Funny.
- Hummer with the monster and giant robot in a Japanese city. That commercial ended up as an error because the Hummer rode on the right side of the road and in Japan they ride on the left side.
- Jackie Chan for Pepsi which I thought was cheap and dumb. Chan did a move with the help of an invisable cord, rather than doing the moves we all know and love. Maybe they should have hired Chris Tucker with him. THEN Chan wouldn't have had to make any moves.
- I thought the Burger King Whopper commercial was dumb and a waste. Could have been better for half the cost.
That's all I can think of at the moment. The others were just the usual. Diddy is a terrorist, so I think any commercial with him is bad for the product (in this case Pepsi).
FEDEX wins with me!
Gyaos.
