Ok this board is WAY too quiet, so I'm gonna try to start some "different" threads. Plerase join me and start some more.
So hey how come so few SPs have music playing for sessions??? Think I'm gonna start bringing my own sound track to "rock" to. Maybe its cuz all our music taste is far less predictable than our taste for "services". Like how would an SP know what to put on. Anyway my music vote goes to Mish, just for having some music. Bob Marley, which was definitely perfect with her"mood lighting". Delightful.

I really try to find out what my date wants prior to meeting so that I can ensure his enjoyment.

Maybe I will have to start asking for requests for music in addition to requests for attire so that I cover
all bases and to give me a bit more insight into his unique tastes and how best to satisfy him.

Thanks for the suggestion.

Bothn agencies I work for turn the radio on for me, I've tried to plug in my iPod to make my own music choices, but it doesn't seem to work with the docks we have, and they aren't CD players either.

I use galaxy radio that comes with my cable TV. My room is set up with speakers so that if the lights are off, the sounds still plays and there are no commercials. I've always used music in my sessions to fill in the quiet times, and in between moans. I listen to mostly metal and rock, but use the adult alternative station (plays some Metallica and Ozzy) for the ones that like it a bit softer lol. I hate rap and hip hop, so I choose to listen to something I like all day lol.

I've heard music at a few places, and because there were no interruptions by commercials or DJs, and the genre was very consistent, I assumed it was from a CD. These also happened to be places with no noticeable clocks in the room, so I further concluded the girl knew which track came on at, or just before, 30 minutes or 1 hour to signal to her that the session should end soon. I figured that was a nice way of doing it.

So, I've been thinking of taking a CD player to work with me after reading through this thread again, but the question now becomes should I bring my own music, or just let it be known I have the CD player so that guys can bring their own music? I am a fan of classic rock, hard rock and metal, and I know the last two are definately genres not a lot of my clients would enjoy.

Both! Let it be known so guys have the option to bring their own music, but have your music (various types) in case they don't bring their own music! I'm sure if I brought my own music it wouldn't too far off from yours.

I picked up a portable ipod docking station at Best Buy for $99. Worth every penny!! I keep a wide range of tunes on my ipod. Everything from classical to house to R&B. I try to find out what my clients musical preferences are and make an effort to play to their preferences, although most guys don't seem to care. And some guys are happy to plug their own ipod in too. My tried and true favs are Sade and Alicia Keys. Whenever I hear Sade I get in the mood, so sensual. I could never go back to using the radio, ugh!
