I've been using Global Payments but am not too thrilled with their fees. They started out competitive but now they seem to be going up and up and up.
Right now they are charging me 0.25% on Interac transactions, 2.92% on Visa and 3.14% on MC as well as an additional 5cent item rate on interacs and 15 cent item rate on CC transactions. Terminal itself costs $30+taxes a month.
And what a money grab by the CC companies with the V-chip security features, absolutely ridiculous!! I'm pretty sure they have already recouped the cost of implementing it a while back. Now it's just extra gravy for them and another way to fuck the merchants.
