I'll chime in, although last time I looked I am definitely not a girl. I'm not big on scents of any kind. Having said that, though, the subtle, very intoxicating scent a NYC favorite wears goes right to my loins. It's Jo Malone's English Pear & Freesia Cologne. For those asking, yes it's for women, and to quote a quick Google query: "Cologne has a lower concentration of fragrance oils than perfume. This is why cologne smells lighter, less intense, and doesn't last as long as perfumes. Cologne is often described as a fresh, lighter fragrance that is good for everyday use."

La la land
Some people wear perfume/cologne to hide or mask a smell they don't want you to know about. Like marijuana or they are making something illegal's. I work with several people and once a month this individual for four days wear this perfume to cover something up.

So a perfume recommendation should be really taken as a grain of salt.

I tend to prefer none as well, especially with SPs, MPAs and dancers. Nothing worse than leaving with heavy perfume smell all over body/ clothes. Freshly clean/ showered is the best perfume IMO.

I prefer little or none as I'm allergic to many perfumes.

That said I heard a story about a guy who saw either an sp or an mpa who was wearing perfume so strong it still left a strong scent even after his leaving shower. As he was going home to his wife he had to figure out how what to do.

Then he got a brilliant idea. He went to a gas station to fill up his car and "oopsy daisy" just happened to splash some gasoline onto his hands.

Of course when he got home his wife asked him why he smelled like gasoline, and she bought his story of accidentally spilling it on his hands. Problem solved!
