I currently play on tigergamming, but I think it sucks. there are many out there, pokerstars, partypoker etc. what do you think is the best one to play on?

Avoid PartyPoker. They have the worst customer service. And the biggest thing is that their site security sucks.
PokerStars and Full Tilt are the safest sites and they have excellent support, and you money is safe.

I like FT. You can customize the room environment if you like to have it look like a regular online room. I don't like looking at the avatars, either, so I just uncheck them.

since most likely people will play in the late afternoon to night time you want sites that allow american players to play with real money (pokerstars and fulltilt) within your same time zone. This is because you are more likely to get more tables available.korean said:

yes you could. Just make sure you don't take any money at all during your qualification period. But IMO, if you are a good enough player to consistently make money from on-line play, than the deposit bonuses are not worth the effort. I used to play at pokerstars and partypoker, but I know people that were teaming up getting 3-5 computers signing up and playing at the same tables and screwing people over. It can happen at every poker site, but I personally knew of people doing it so I left as I didn't want to be screwed by others.
PLus I play high NL tables like 25-50, 50-100 or 10-20 sometimes where pots are on average $500-$1500 so being cheated can really hurt.

Either way whatever site you play at if you are a good poker player LIVE, trust me when I tell you that ONLINE POKER is VERY VERY different and can take you by surprise.
You can't see there faces, some of these guys are on tilt and you have no idea, some have tons of money and could care less calling stupid bets, etc things that differ from real life.
So start slow, start at the lower tables understanding online poker before going into high limits.

as for so call good online players.....i doubt any good online players will go to live game and say i'm a winning players.
not to mention after rakeback and bonus, it's not really worth to go to live game....(this is why i don't play live anymore)

online, there are lots tell you can pickup as well.
