A little more east of that is Charmy fish and chips at 1549 O'Connor Dr. Don't be scared off by the looks, the food is very good and more reasonably priced.

Reliable Fish & Chips on Queen East is quite good. Small shop, but very well frequented.

Heritage has several locations but all in and around Brampton as far as I know. There is also a Henry's Fish and Chips, also in Brampton.

Ordered take out when I was on a campaign in the area last year. Was very impressed.

The last Fish & Chips thread showed a a strong following for British Style, on Dundas just east of Coxwell across from the cop shop. Lousy parking, great food.

Thanks for info... gotta try out some of these places.... should have mentioned in original post that the lobster bisque at queens way is to die for and they only serve it on Fridays and saturdays..... wish l lived closer ,45 mins drive away is sometimes not in the cards....

Fresco fish and chip in Kensington market. They batter the fish with Miss Vickie's potato chip. The best I ever had. Try the other menu like shrimp po boy sandwich. It's more of a pick up food to go joint.

I went there a couple times (Saturday & Sunday afternoons) but they were always closed. I thought they should call it Unreliable Fish and Chips!

Went there once and it was the greasiest meal I've ever had. Maybe it was just an off day.
