Since 2008 I come to Toronto once every 1-2 years for a week, mainly to see the gorgeous ladies... ;-). As my 7th trip is coming up in January I started preparing a bit. Allready contacted some gorgeous girls to arrange some meetings, but I was also looking for some nice coffee places I can relax with a book or Macbook... I usually go to Indy places and sometimes one of the bigger companies, but not all have a nice and relaxed atmosphere.

I thought Le Neuf Cafe on Clarence square was awesome, but that seems to be closed down?

Anyway, any tips for a cozy, relaxed place to spend 1-2 hours with excellent cofffee downtown?

.....

In the meantime I arranged a date with Tifereth (a repeat, and REALLY looking forward to that), and hopefully Katcalla (also a repeat but hard to get in touch with).... Furthermore Chloee Rose, Rubberragdoll, Charlotte King, Malika Fantasy (repeat!), petite-Nicole, Natasha Summers, Camilla Lush, Juno Grey etc etc etc are all on the wishlist..... choices, choices.... ;-)

I suppose you could have googled coffee in Toronto downtown, but you asked here so there must be some implicit reason.
Hmmm, let me think what that could be?!?! The hot chicks? the eye candy?

If so, I would recommend searching for coffee near Ryerson and U of Toronto. Also King or Queen West around Bathurst.
Liberty Village and Yorkville are also not bad.

coffee shops

The Black Canary on Sherbourne is my favourite within downtown. Also the Rooster Coffee house on Jarvis, though that one's a bit busier.

For outside of downtown the absolute BEST in the city in my opinion is De Mello Palheta Coffee by Yonge/Eglinton. Their selection of beans and knowledge held by the baristas is not even comparable to another cafe.

But back to downtown before I gush... Zavida is nice as well and has fine drinks.
Early Bird Espresso has a nice feel to it. I personally love the open concept minimal aesthetic. However, it's become a bit more popular recently and with limited seating, it doesn't hold the comfort of somewhere with more couches.

If you were looking for coffee for time to share on a dat with a companion, I'd reccomend a high-end hotel bar in all honestly. Most serve coffee and have quieter space with more plush seating than a regular cafe. Since it will be more conversation than indulging in nuances of bean tasting, it will be the best option for getting to know someone.
The Windsor arms especially is lovely in that regard.
one of the nicest areas for coffee dates is YORKVILLE any of the restos or the Hazleton lanes

its like little Europe or France

my personal favourite Blu ristorante table for 2 under the stairs behind the bar ......this is private

Thanks for al the input! :)....

I will definately check some of these places out! I made list and will take a look! I usually use these places to relax after seeing one of the gorgeous girls Toronto has to offer...

Thanks again!

@Valeria Beleza: you were on my wishlist last time I was in Toronto, but I didn't get a chance to make an appointment. Any chance you'll be around the last week of January? ;-)
