I need some new suits because I have lost a fair bit of weight. Usually I buy them from Maxwells but I don't want to wait for their next measuring trip to Toronto. Another company, BMV Bespoke Tailors, will be in Toronto on May 6th and 7th to do measurements. I would appreciate any feedback about their quality and price. Info about alternatives would also be appreciated. Thanks. Frank.

I saw these guys at one the Toronto "Mens Show"'s.

I got one of their suits for $700 and it is really nicely done. Fit was almost perfect the first time and just needed a bit of adjustment in the sleeves.

They have a showroom in Toronto and then they ship your measurements out to Asia. Same as the other guys, just with a local showroom.

I use Vogue tailor out of Hong Kong but they were just here in April and won't be back until September. Local custom tailors I like are "Made" and "Garrison".

Just curious. .. would you guys get one of these to go under your suit? A guy at work has it and it's pretty cool and functional, but I think it only looks good under a suit, and I'm it much of a suit guy!

Thanks for the laugh.
You'll see me with a "murse" before I get one of these. And it's saying a lot.

Indochino is great for suits, measurements well done and the showroom staff is friendly and knowledgeable. I have half a dozen suits from them and a few shirts. I don't like the quality of the shirts (fit is great of course).

Thanks. Was browsing there at King/Spadina just a couple of days ago and was wondering about the quality. I brought ties back to the office and have been trying to find 3 pieces to push it again, but wasn't seeing what I liked. These guys had a lot of choices and some nice looking cuts. Not too conservative, not too flash. Really want to pick up something interesting for summer.

Darn, need a ZZ Top emoticon to go here. "Every girl crazy 'bout a ....."

Good to know about the shirts. Other than Boss slim fit I have terrible luck with the more expensive shirts. Some guys picking up 5$ shirts at Goodwill are really scoring....

Garrison is also who does Gregg Zaun's suits for Blue Jays games on Sportsnet. Some days he does go for "Don Cherry Outlandish", but for the most part, the suits look great.

Try davidoafnani he has some amazing patterns and his prices are very good $900 for a suit.
