Ben Johnson documentary

I was wondering if anyone else saw this. It had a few interesting facts(?).

It had someone from west coast athletics (run by nike in the 80's) telling how they were provided a detailed
program about how to dope. (purely for information sake) until someone told the nike people.

At the '84 olympics, the LA organizing committee took and shredded the only copy of the drug test
coding information, leading people to believe that at a number of big time US athletes tested positive.

It also speculated that Johnson only got caught because of a new test for stonozolol that everyone else
knew about.

Some of their theories seemed to contradict each other but it says a lot about political power that Ben was the only one of those caught using that had all of his results throughout his career erased.

And the ones who get caught...are usually not Americans! Can you say Carl Lewis!!! Who the hell grows an inch when they are 22 years old?

Interesting to note also that Marion Jones and her boyfriend both could not even make the Olympic team this year as the media and doping organizations are looking for the slightest hint that they are on 'riods. Just gives proof that Johnson was a scapegoat because he is not American.

Yes he was a scapegoat...yes they were all juiced...and yes he certainly kept the wrong company. Maybe he wasn't a MENSA candidate...maybe he wasn't that bright...but

When you show up for the race with bloodshot red eyes, sweating like an animal (before the race), run a record race and look like a tank compared to everybody else -they will check you out. Johnson made the IOC look bad by overdoing the "vitamin S". Maybe if he was leaner, not so roided out; it may not have looked so bad. Jesus lay off the juice before the race maybe - use it during the training cycles and lay off before the race.
