The New Doctors Palace
I recently visited the newly opened Doc's Palace, located on Railway St. in Belleville, directly across from the train station.
I haven't been in this place for approximately 10 years, I always wondered what would become of the place.....
Well I would like to provide somewhat of a review..... First there is ample parking, not like the Cabaret which has a municipal parking lot beside it, one that during the lunch and afternoon time you have to pay for parking or risk a $5 parking ticket, like I got..
Secondly the total place has been totally renovated. The establishment was very impressive. The owner introduced himself and gave us the grand tour of the place. Lots of seating, there are areas that could be booked for groups.
They kept the pool tables and the bar at the front as you walk in, sort of as a memorial thing for the folks that spent many a hour there shooting pool and drinking in the past.
The stage is very well lit and has two brass poles, lots of perv row seating for the younger less experienced viewers and the older hard of seeing patrons. I myself am in the middle. At my age I have recently stepped down from perv row and take a seat further back more in the darkness, I had my day!!!
The VIP area is very discrete with nice seating areas with curtains, lighting and mirrors, this area has the usual charge $$ comparible to the rest. Also there is no fee to enter this area, unlike the plaza in kingston, (crock)
The beer is cold and the price is also in tune with the competitors @ $4.50.
I will definitely be going back to this place, it will be a place of choice for most. It is the largest strip club in the Quinte, Kawartha, 1000 Islands area.
I would like others to share there experiences if they have already visited, or after they have visited.
