Once again, Bell proves to the world just how incompetent they really are.

As some may remember, I tranfered over to their one bill system, and had some trouble with getting cut off.

So they decided to make it up to me by giving me 2 months of free service.

Now, they have decided that since I am getting free service, that I must have discontinued my services and have billed me $200 for early termination.

I guess that they are too bloody minded to realize that I am still using the services.

And Emily is no help. I wish someone would drown that bitch in Lake Ontario.

Tomorrow, I'm sure I will get it once again, all straightened out. Maybe.

Rogers is just as stupid!
BTW, who is Emily?
Emily is the automated voice assistance on the phone.
You say what it is you are looking for and she directs you to the proper department.

If you ask me I rather speak to a human being than a computer generated voice assistant.

After an hour on the phone, three transfers and some harsh language, Bell has acknowledged that I did not order the services that they were billing me for an early termination.

Yes, you read that right.

Bell, in error set up a new service that I did not order. Then someone cancelled that order. I was charged for the order, then charged an early termination fee.

But did they do that just once? No, they did it twice. And of course they charged me tax on everything.

Swine.

But they say - once again - that everything has been worked out, so sorry for the error.

Tell'em you've had enough and are switching to Rogers Home Phone. They will offer all kinds of deals just to stay with Bell.

LOL, will the same work if you tell a Rogers representative you will switch from Rogers home phone to Bell?

1) Everytime you deal with someone on the phone, at the end of the conversation, get him/her to give you a confirmation number.

2) Get in the habit of calling back and making sure your instructions were followed correctly.

3) I've heard that if you pay through either MasterCard or Visa, you can complain to either MasterCard or Visa and they will do an investigation through/of Bell.

Recently, I joined Primus and they've screwed up my account 3 times before it was even activated:

1) I told them I wanted the "Triple Value Lite" package and on the next day I called to see if they screwed up my instructions and I found out that they gave me the "Triple Value" package which is twice the cost.

2) I told them to send the modem to my work address and I spelled out the postal code by saying "'M' as in Mary, 'A' as in apple, ...". The next day, I called back to see if they got my instructions correct and I found out that they fucked up my work postal code.

3) 5 business days after I ordered the package and told them to send the modem to my work address, I found that it arrived at my home address.

All of this happened before the account was even activated.
